Ticket Modalities

At ABC Transport, we are committed to providing excellent service to our customers. Below are the terms and conditions governing the use of our tickets.

Definitions

  • Missed Service: A situation where a passenger fails to board the scheduled service or arrives at the departure point after the scheduled departure time.
  • Ticket Rescheduling: A change in travel date or time made by the passenger before the scheduled departure time.
  • Ticket Rerouting: A change in the route or destination made by the passenger before or after the scheduled departure time.
  • Ticket Cancellation: A request to cancel a ticket and receive a refund, either partially or fully.

Missed Service

In the event of a missed service:

1. Before Travel Date

  • Not applicable. Passengers are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled service.

2. After Travel Date

  • Passengers are entitled to:
  • A 50% refund of the ticket fare; or
  • Rescheduling with a 50% surcharge and payment plus any fare difference.

Ticket Rescheduling

Rescheduling a ticket incurs a fee of:

1. Before Travel Date

  • ₦1,000 for local routes
  • ₦3,000 for international routes

2. After Travel Date

  • This is a missed service — Rescheduling with 50% surcharge plus any fare difference.

Additionally, any fare difference must be settled.

Ticket Cancellation

1. Before Travel Date (1 day prior)

  • 85% refund of the ticket fare (15% cancellation fee applies).

2. On Travel Date

  • 50% refund of the ticket fare.

3. Checked-in Tickets

  • Cannot be cancelled.

Ticket Rerouting

Rerouting a ticket incurs a 15% surcharge of the fare, plus any applicable fare difference.

1. Before Travel Date

  • Applicable, subject to availability and fare difference.

2. After Travel Date

  • 50% surcharge plus 15% rerouting plus any fare difference.

Open Tickets

1. Refund Policy

  • Non-refundable if passenger chooses to cancel. Validity period is 60 days.

2. Rescheduling & Rerouting

  • Allowed with a ₦1,000 fee for local routes and ₦3,000 for international routes, plus any fare difference.

Ticket Validity

Tickets are valid for 60 days from the date of issue. After the ticket validity period (60 days), the ticket expires and:

  • No refund will be given.
  • No rescheduling or rerouting will be allowed.
  • Passengers will need to purchase a new ticket if they still wish to travel.

General Terms

By purchasing a ticket, passengers acknowledge and agree to abide by these terms and conditions. ABC Transport reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions without prior notice.
