What is Whistle Blowing
Whistleblowing involves the reporting of information by an individual about actual or suspected wrongdoing, misconduct, or unethical behavior within an organization. This may include, but is not limited to, corruption, fraud, criminal activity, discrimination, bullying, sexual harassment, or any other form of unethical practice.
Such concerns may relate to incidents that have occurred in the past, are currently happening, or could occur in the future.
Who can Blow a Whistle
A whistleblower may be an employee, shareholder, or any stakeholder connected to the organization, including customers, suppliers, or vendors who choose to raise genuine concerns in good faith to promote transparency and integrity.
